Accor, Minyoun Hospitality, and Tianfu Rongde Hotel (Beijing) Co., Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) forming a strategic partnership between the three leading companies.
The MOU includes the rebranding of the existing Tianfu Zunya Beijing Chang’an Hotel into Sofitel, a signature luxury hotel brand under Accor. Accor and Minyoun will jointly develop the landmark hotel with the mandate to establish it as Sofitel’s flagship property in the Asia Pacific region.
In attendance at the signing ceremony were Mr. Zhang Jianming, Chairman of Minyoun Hospitality; Mr. Michael Issenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Accor Asia Pacific; Ms. He Xiaoyan, representing Tianfu Rongde; Mr. Gary Rosen, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, Accor Greater China; Mr. Murphy Zhu, Chief Commercial Officer, Accor Greater China; and Mr. Zhang Lei, Vice President of Minyoun Hospitality.
The strategic cooperation between Accor and Minyoun Hospitality will complement each company’s respective resources, achieving a symbiosis between international standards and localization through efficient management. The partnership will offer attractive and valuable products to guests from all over the world, provide secure return on investment for the owner, and further open a new chapter for China’s luxury hospitality segment.
